DOLE TUPAD Cash Aid Contact Numbers

TUPAD or Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers guidelines are now out, displaced workers can now avail of this cash aid. Under the guidelines, informal workers that are affected by the pandemic and were unable to to get assistance at the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis, and were able to apply on or before April 30, 2020 shall be prioritized in the programs implementation of the second phase.

About half a million displaced workers have applied for TUPAD benefits but were not accommodated previously by this program due to budget constraints. Those who have alsoreceived assistance in the first phase may still be able to avail againof the TUPAD program, under the Bayanihan to Recover as One Act or Bayanihan 2.

To avail the benefits, the public is encouraged to contact the DOLE through their Call Center details below:

Just dial 1349 on any Globe, Smart or PLDT landline phone. No need for any mobile prefix or landline area code. You may call them all week round, Monday to Sunday, between 12:00 AM and 12:00 Noon of the same day.

About DOLE's TUPAD

TUPAD or Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers is a community-based package of assistance that provides emergency employment for displaced workers, underemployed and seasonal workers, for a minimum period of 10 days, but not to exceed a maximum of 30 days, depending on the nature of work to be performed.

Only the following types of projects can be supported with such assistance:

  • Social community projects, such as repair, maintenance, and/or improvement of common public facilities and infrastructure such as schools and health centers, debris clearing, de-clogging of canals, debris segregation and materials recovery, stockpiling and clearing
  • Economic community projects like repair, maintenance and/or rehabilitation of farm-to-market roads, bridges, post-harvest facilities, public markets and common service facilities such as production and display centers, fishports
  • Agro-forestry community projects, such as tree planting, seedling preparation, and reforestation

Prior to one’s actual engagement in employment, the beneficiary will be provided with the following:

  • Basic orientation on safety and health;
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the form of T-shirt and hat
  • Enrolment in group micro-insurance, to be included in the total project cost or as counterpart of the ACP/LGU; and
  • TUPAD ID.
