Globe Partners With Shell for Additional Cell Sites

As of January 2018, Globe makes another move to widen its network and expand the number of cell sites in the country. The leading telecommunication provider shake hands after the signing of partnership with Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Company. In this agreement of the two company it will allow to set up GoWifi Hotspots at select Shell stations.

For several years, Globe is very intrusive looking forward for a partnership with government organization and even private sectors to expand network ability. Though it takes 25 permits and at least 8 months to pull up just one cell site, Globe still working to make sure all areas will benefit reliable service. Globe allotted this year capital expenditure of $850 million which will used in the third player telco.
With the collaboration they are now aiming to install GoWifi hotspots in 14 Shell station along major roads. Shell also talks about Globe unit GCash to offer cashless payments.

Clearly, in this kind of improvement of Globe will definitely receive a thumbs up from their subscribers. Having more reliable network and providing customers data needs.
