Last Monday, June 8, 2020, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) announced that they are preparing for the distribution of emergency cash subsidy to the 5 million "waitlisted" families directed by the President to be added in the first tranche of Social Amelioration Program (SAP) implementation.
DSWD reminded local government units ( LGUs) across the nation to recognize qualifying low-income households, validated and assessed as being financially and economically impacted by the group quarantine declaration but were not included in SAP 's initial eighteen million first tranche family beneficiaries.
